whenyouneedsomethingspecialtodotounwindormotivateyourselflikefavourite
cuisineatyourdoorstep,game,somespecialTVshow,latestnews,connectingfriends
etal.NowPAUSE&THINKWhatisthemostimportantingredientofyourlifeto
makeupyourbaddays?forMostofustheanswerisstraightforwardTechnology.
Technologyishelpingusnotonlytodoourjobsbutalsoplayinganimportantrolein
ourprivatelives.EvolutionofTechnologiesandhowtheyareimpactingourpersonal&
businesslifeisareallyaninspirationaltopic.Understandingtechnologiesarenolonger
iscupofteaonlyforfewpeoplehighskilledpeopleorTechnocrats.Internethasmade
allthefieldsordomainanopenbookaccessibletoeveryone.Amedicalpractitioner
canreadabouttelecomandaTelecomengineercanreadaboutmedicalscienceasmuch
ashewants.So,ifyouhadarealbaddayandthingsappearstobeimpossibleoroutof
control.Usetechnologiesandreadaboutitsevolutioninanyofyourfavouriteareaor
domainlikeevolutionofTV,aircrafts,telecom.Youwillgetamazedandpositivitywill
getimbibeintoyourthoughts.Technologieshaveturneddreamsofourforefathersinto
realityandstillitisevolvingtomakeourlifebetter.Andthisevolutionwasnotoneday
miracle,ittookdecadesandtherearemanystoriesoffailuresbehindthisbeautiful
pleasures.so,whentechnocratsarenotstopping&continuouslyimproving
technologiestomakedreamythingsreal,Whyshouldanyoneelsestopinlife....We
shouldalsokeepourmotivationshigh.

exchangeopenedinNewHaven,Connecticut.
Mobilecommunicationtookbirthduetoslowandlimitedconnectivitywithfixedline
exchanges.So,launchedfirstcellularcommunicationnetworkforvoicecalledasFirst
Generation(1G)in1979andthefirsthandheldmobilecellphonewasdemonstratedby
Motorolain1973.TheFirstGenerationsupportedonlyvoiceonlyandspeedof2kbps.
Thenthereaftervoice,tosupporttextandotherbasicserviceslikecalleridentification,
callwaiting,callhold,conferencing,PicturemessagesMMS,Internetaccess,search
anddirectory,emailaccess,etc.2Gand2.5GNetworkswerebuiltin19802000.
SecondGenerationtechnology(GSM)wasthefirstonetofacilitatedigitalvoice&data
andinternationalroaming,allowingcustomerstoroamfromplacetoanother,with
retainingtheconfidentialityofcallsusingSignallingandDataConfidentialityand
MobilestationAuthenticationtoprovideendtoendsecurityincommunication.These
networksimprovedthequalityandspeedofcommunicationandsaidtosupport14kbps
to64Kbpswith2Gand115kpbs(GPRS)/384kbps(EDGE)with2.5G
technology(specificallymeanttoprovideinternetaccess)
Intheyear2000,theeraofthirdGeneration(3G)wirelesscommunicationstartedto
providedvoice,text,&multimediaalongwithhigherdatatransmissionspeedupto

networks,telecomtechnocratshasstartedworkonFifthGeneration(5G)whichwill
bringforwardarealwirelessworldWirelessWorldWideWeb(WWWW).Theaimof
5GistosupportConnecteverythingorInternetofthingconceptandfacilitateaspeed
ofupto10Gbps.5Gwillfacilitatetheserviceslikeremotediagnosticsandmonitoring.

evolutioninlastdecades,definitionofMobilecommunicationhasbeenchanged
