MANAGEMENT REORIENTATION AND UPDATING OF

STAFFING PATTERN WORKSHOP
August 10, 2016, 10:00AM-6:00PM
A. SUMMARY
Twenty (20) Department/Section heads were present during the workshop facilitated by the
Municipal Administrator, Mr. James Paul S. Inawasan;

It was agreed that the workshop tools given to department/section heads be worked
upon at their respective offices and shall be presented on Friday, August 12, 2016 for
critiquing and further discussion;
The following issues/concerns needed to be address were raised during the workshop,
to wit;
a. Issuance of directive to check current citizens charter;
b. An integrated calendar of the budget, finance and procurement on or by the
end of November;
c. Communicate to the legislative department regarding strategic planning;
d. Re-echoing of personnel sent to training programs;
e. Issuance of order for effective liasoning without infringing the checks and
balances principle;
f. Inclusion of the Acting Secretary to the Sanggunian, Ms. Gina A. Pacto in all
department head meetings;
g. Personal concerns of department heads with employees in their respective
offices be discussed in a separate meeting;
h. Employee engagement through or in line with LGUs programs/activities (staff
orientation/employees forum on Civil Service month);
i. Shift to a new system offered by/from DBP, Land Bank or VMoney be
discussed in a separate meeting;
j. Payroll (clarification on what office is in-charge)
k. A follow-up on birthing homes project and identify focal person from their end
and from our Local Government Unit.
