Rationale
Upon her first bleeding, she has already
consulted the doctor immediately and was
advised to take a lot of rest. She was also
told to come back for consulting the doctor
again if bleeding would still occur, and
responded easily.

Onset of labor

During the first bleeding, she directly went


to see the doctor and has undergone
ultrasound. She was detected with placenta
previa totalis and informed to take a lot of
rest that would lessen the bleeding.

Justification
The patient settled to
early compliance
through asking the
doctor, who can aid
her understand her
case, identify the
problem, what are
further treatments
needed and
preventing further
complications which
can be a progressive
factor for the patient.

If not addressed
earlier, chances are
high and possible
complications might
occur. So when
experiencing
unusualities and
manifestations are

Precipitating Factors

Among the precipitating factors present in


the client are cigarette smoking and
multiparity. It was also her third pregnancy
that cause her to develop a placenta previa.

Treatment

Family Support

Patient was consistent and compliant to her


medication as ordered by the doctor and
has completed the period wherein she
should take the prescribed medications.

best habitual
methods to have an
optimum progression
in the condition of the
client

Mostly supported by sister and husband.

Support and
motivation given to
the patient may also
link to good
progression. It
manages the patient
to help her
understand that she
is not being ignored
and her family cares
for her.

The sister was her watcher most of the time


while her husband does the processing of
papers and financial works.

Environmental Factors

Their place is slightly conducive for the


clients condition. They live quite distant
from polluted and noisy city. Clean house
were also maintained by the family as their
simple protective measure against poor
health. However, chemical spray is common
around their area which can lead to any
risks for acquired airborne illnesses and
may cause trigger in their respiratory tract.
