Projects Undertaken:
Ph.D Thesis Title: Influence of varying content of Titanium Carbide (TiC) on the Tribological
behviour of Zinc-Aluminum based composites.
Working under Dr. O. P. Modi & Dr. B. K.Prasad at CSIR-AMPRI (formerly RRL), Bhopal.
Description: In the present study, Zinc-Aluminium based composite have been synthesized by
varying the different content of matrix (Zinc-Aluminium Alloy) and reinforcing material (TiC) for
bearing Application. The composite have been characterized in terms of Physical, Mechanical and
Tribological properties. The comparis on has been done between them to see the influence of the
varying content of Aluminium and TiC on the composite.
M.Tech. Thesis Title: Sliding Wear Studies of Zinc Based Alloys & its Composite.
Worked under Dr. O. P. Modi & Dr. B. K. Prasad at CSIR-AMPRI (formerly RRL), Bhopal.
Description: In this investigation, an attempt has been made to analyze the sliding wear response
of a zinc-based alloy reinforced SiC particles over a range of applied pressures at the different
sliding speeds. The matrix alloy was also characterized under identical test conditions to see the
influence of the dispersed (SiC) phase on the wear behaviour. The wear response of the (zincbased) matrix alloy and composite was compared with that of a conventionally used cast iron.

B.E. Project Title: Analysis & Simulation of Centralized Air Conditioner.

Worked under Dr. S.P.S. Rajput at MANIT, Bhopal.
Description: It presents the modeling of a Centralized Air Conditioning System using a
concentrated solar collector. A modular Computer Program (using MATLAB) along with
Engineering Equation Solver (EES) isused to simulate various configurations. The main aim of the
work is to make system more efficient by utilizing conventional energy resources & by
incorporating some useful IT Tools.
