INTRODUCTION TO THE STUDY

Online trading means buying and selling shares through online is called online trading. If you
want to trade on a stock exchange we need D-mat account. The elements need to open D-mat
account is bank account, trading account, PAN number and unique identification number.
The shares are trading in 2 markets they are
(1).primary market
(2).secondary market
Primary market: in primary market the company directly sells itself shares to the public. The
shares are available in primary market is low price when compared to secondary market.
Secondary market: secondary market is one of the capital markets, it that shares are traded in the
BSE & NSC.

STATEMENT OF PROBLEM:
There is a lack of awareness among people about investing in stock market. So people
who are aware of such things were found in specific areas for survey process
Most of the peoples were comfortable with traditional system in small towns and like to
trade from their respective brokers, hence not providing their true opinions
Some of the respondents who did not do Online trading were able to respond only some
questions
Limitations towards online trading confined to keep the study in manageable limits.
OBJECTIVES OF STUDY:
The primary and secondary objectives of this research are:
It is to analysis the changes in trading after the exchange shifted from offline to online
trading systems.

It is to study the functions of ALPHA COMMODITY ltd. through various

departments.

To know the online screen based trading system adopted by ALPHA COMMODITY
and about its communication facilities. The appropriate configuration to set the
network, which would link ALPHA COMMODITY to individual/members.

 To know about the latest and future development in the stock exchange trading
system.
