David didn't need to know Goliath's

strength because he already knew
God's
Unknown

Dear People,
Dr. Paul S.Rees wrote, To understand the will of
God is my problem, To undertake the will of God
is my privilege and to undercut the will of God is
my peril. This statement clearly brings out an
important lesson for each one of us that we
need to always be at the centre of Gods will.
We patiently wait for God to lead us in the way
that He has planned for us. Often the temptation is so high that we try to find our own way
without waiting for Him. Instead of letting Him
help us, we try to help ourselves. This is what
Rebecca and Jacob did, when they schemed and
got the blessing from Isaac. (Gen 27:5-29) Even
after knowing Gods will (Gen 25:23) without
waiting for God to fulfill His promise, they devised their own plan. The consequence of their
action was that they were separated and never
met again. When we do things without waiting
for God, we will have to face the consequences.
Always wait patiently for God to fulfill His plan in
our lives.
When Israelites travelled from Egypt to Canaan
they set out only when cloud lifted from above
the tabernacle, whether it is a month or a year;
hot and humid or cold they stayed there. Only
when the cloud lifted up, they knew it was Gods
will for them to move ahead. So, patiently wait
for God, even when you go through dark places.
The time of trouble is meant to teach us, the
lessons we extremely need. Its better to walk in
the dark with God than to walk in the light without Him.
Trust in the Lord and do not despair. Wait for
the Lord. Be strong and let your heart take courage. In this troubled and insecure world, the safest place is to be at the centre of His will and
plan. So, let not our current difficulties, disappointments and failures prevent us from doing
His will.
