Research Paper: Industrial Engineering

The work that is involved in Industrial engineering applies to science,
mathematics, and engineering methods to complex. Some of the major
duties of being an engineering Review production schedules, engineering
specifications, and any other info that could help understand methods that
are applied and activity that can take place in manufacturing services. Also
you must learn to figure out how to manufacture any parts and or products
you would also encounter some delivering services. You are to develop
management control systems to make planning and cost more successful.
You will most likely have many times where you will have controlled
procedures to resolve or fix any problems to its minimum costs.

In this job your daily routine would consist of collecting experimental data
and analyze data/samples in support of quality while developing
manufacture, designing layouts, and carry out work study. The skills needed
for this career is strong management, math, science, common sense,
organization, creativity, patience and leadership. The working environment
for Industrial would be around a computer of electronic, machinery,
aerospace, and motor vehicle manufacturing.

masters degree once in college it is recommended to take courses of
mathematics, computer science as well as chemistry and physics compared
to other engineering degrees, industrial engineers learn to plan, design
complex systems for a given industry. Industrial engineering majors learn to
use engineering and scientific principles to design, manufacture, or improve
syst3ems that involve goods and services .Industrial engineers deal with hoe
products are created, the quality of the products, and the cost of making the
products.. The possibilities for moving up the carrier ladder are pretty high. I
say this because once an industrial engineer gets some experience, it is
most likely youll get promoted to a managerial position.
And for someone whose ultimate goal set is to get into management,
industrial engineering offers a quick and easy pathway. There are many
current salary ranges but a few of the main pays from higher positions in
industrial are Aerospace product and parts manufacturing which gets paid
$94,960. Computer and electronic product manufacturing $90,520,
Engineering services $88,270, Machinery manufacturing $78,080, and Motor
vehicle parts manufacturing. The total median annual wage would turn out to
be $83, 470.

Now when it comes to retirement it really depends on the company you work
for. But normally the company would contribute. And the benefits that come

out of retirement is the fact that you are able to get paid while also not
having to work. You could spend more time doing the things you enjoy. Some
of the major employers in this field would be Henry Ford who was an Irish
farm boy brought up on a family farm and was expected to do farm work but
he had his own ideas/ visions making him one of the most famous industrial
engineers of all time. He was the founder of the Ford Motor company. And
with his genius mind his production increased tremendously and still is till
this day.

Another successful Industrial engineer was named Tim cook he was the one
that helped Steve Jobs become the CEO of apple. He saved millions by
closing unnecessary ware houses and factories limiting inventory from
months to days. And last but not least there Is Michael Terry duke who made
a remarkable use of knowledge and enjoyed many powerful positions after
receiving his Bachelors degree in Industrial engineering 1971. His salary was
estimated to be 18.2 million.

The future prospects of this position can start at any time as long as you
have the creativity, mindset, and dedication. You could start to prepare
yourself for this career. Once out of high school youll be ready to apply at a
college that carries good education for this aspect. A few things that you
could do in High school to prepare you for this career path is take an

engineering class if they have any to offer. For instance as a freshman I am

taking a class called CAD engineering which are just learning the basics you
need to know in order to become one. once out of High school. If there are
any clubs you could join that is similar to this career that could help as well.
A huge thing about becoming an engineer is math a science so while youre
in school you might as well pay close attention to those subjects they teach
you because it can become a huge help in the future. Ive herd of national
math honors society so that is something that would increase your
knowledge of mathematics.
Also if you know anyone who works as an engineer they would most likely be
