You must write a 1-2 minute monologue which meet the following criteria: 1. You must be speaking to someone. 2. The monologue should be about something that has happened in your life either a retelling or recreation. 3. You should reference an item/object in the monologue that is relevant to the topic. 4. There must be a beginning, middle and end a clear resolution. 5. You should know where this conversation is taking place and what your relationship is to the other person. Your monologue can be either dramatic or comedic. 4- Excellent Monologue was no less than one minute and no more than two minutes long. The character was speaking to someone as opposed to delivering a stream of consciousness. The monologue topic focused on an event that took place in the actors life. The actor referenced an item/object that was relevant to the monologue. There was a clear beginning, middle and end to the monologue with a clear resolution. The actors monologue took place in a location. The actor delivered the monologue in a way that clearly showed the relationship to whom they were speaking. The monologue was memorized and the actor well prepared.
