Features

Pacoms 8-16 door field controller, the 1058, is your best choice for scalable access
control system. With onboard ethernet and intelligent alarm intrusion functions,
this device is a fully integrated network-enabled security controller. It can operate
stand-alone for smaller buildings or as part of a fully integrated access control system
for larger buildings or multi-site applications.

Each 1058 makes access decisions for up to 10,000 cardholders (1,000 standard) based
on its distributed database. Customizable schedules provide even further control of
each access point, and the on-board real-time clock (which automatically adjusts for
leap years and daylight saving) allows these decisions to be performed instantly.
Each of the 8 or 16 doors can be individually configured to operate based on card only,
PIN only, or card and PIN, with access schedules providing further control. The doors
and alarm points can be partitioned into 8 areas of security, and can be controlled by
up to 16 keypads. This enables you to have multiple keypads controlling the one area.
Dual-flash ROM means that firmware updates can be performed without any
disruption to access control or security functionality. With 8 alarm inputs and 4
outputs on-board (and the ability to control up to 256 alarm inputs and 64 outputs
with expansion devices) Pacom is the ideal option for total security integration.
