AN ACT TO INSTITUTIONALIZE THE USE OF AN ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION

SYSTEM IN THE PHILIPPINES AND TO ESTABLISH THE OFFICE FOR ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE
RESOLUTION, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

(q) "Mediation" means a voluntary process in which a mediator, selected by the disputing parties,
facilitates communication and negotiation, and assist the parties in reaching a voluntary agreement
regarding a dispute.

The herein PARTIES agree that their attendance to the patients shallbe independent
of each other, hence, each PARTY shall be individuallyresponsible for any incident
that may occur during the time the patient isunder his/her care. The determination
of the liabilities of PARTIES in thecare of the patients shall depend upon the specific
factual circumstanceall around the patients
