In Luke Chapter 14 we are reminded that

Jesus has not come for the self-righteous,
but to call sinners to his fiesta, his feast.
Go out at once into the streets and lanes
of the town and bring in the poor, the
crippled, the blind, and the lame. 22 And
the slave said, Sir, what you ordered has
been done, and there is still room. 23
Then the master said to the slave, Go out
into the roads and lanes, and compel
people to come in, so that my house may
be filled. 24 For I tell you, none of those
who were invited will taste my dinner.
As Street Pastors and Prayer Pastors our
witness is in the very place mentioned in
this verse, the streets. By listening caring
and helping people on the streets we are
witnessing to them of a God who is full of
love and compassion for people living,
working and revelling on the streets. I saw
recently someone had put on the chalk
board at Central 24-7 Prayer Room the
words "That I would see the world through
your compassionate eyes." Let that be our

festival revellers

fashionable flipflops. The police
told us there had
been an increased
number of assaults
and that they were
over-stretched.
Please do pray
constantly for the

and women of our
police force. Pray
for protection and
