Executive Summary

Think Tech Engineering Consultant and Constructions (PVT) LTD are in need
of a professional engineering constructor (construction firm) to build a newly
proposed pedestrian bridge. This bridge is funded by Sri Lanka Institute of
Information for their bridge program project.

The purpose of this request is to provide complete construction management

and inspection to provide a completed product that performs as intended. At the
moment Think Tech Engineering Consultants and Constructions (PVT) LTD is
planning to find firm to provide constructability reviews, construction
engineering and other services associated with the construction phase of a
project.

There are six main objectives that Think Tech Engineering consultants and
constructions (PVT) Ltd wanted to be achieved by the contractors

1] Effective cost and schedule controls

2] Delivery of the overall Project at least cost for best value and within CCC
budget

BACKGROUND AND CURRENT STATUS OF Think Tech

Think Tech Engineering Consultant and Construction Company was
implemented in 10th July 2014. Although the company is with less experience
the Director board is held by fully efficiently working people who are capable
to compete as a Consultant Company in this competitive market.
Our company`s main objective is to be the leader in this industry. As a
consultant company
The director Board and the staff is fully qualified where all the directors are
from engineering backgrounds of Electrical, electronic, mechanical and Civil
which combines a greater knowledge in constructions more effectively and in
an environmental friendly manner.

SCOPE OF CONTRACT
1. Purpose
Think Tech Engineering works as the consultant for SLIIT (Sri Lanka
Institute of Information Technology) to consult them for a proposed
pedestrian bridge.
The Proposed Bridge is,

4m from the bed level of the waterway

Span of1.5m
Width of 0.5m
Load carrying capacity of 700 N
Made from any kind of suitable and durable Timber.

This bridge should be constructed within 12 weeks.

2. Roles and Responsibilities

Daily operations of the project should be E mailed to the Project
Manager.

3. CONSTRUCTION / CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION

Maintaining a daily inspector's report system
Equipment must be identified sufficiently to enable determination of the
applicable rental rates and operators minimum wage.
Maintaining well organized photographic record
Monitoring construction schedules throughout the course of construction

PROJECT CHANGE CONTROL

Investigation and inspection of site conditions that differ from those described
in the Contract Documents
Review and evaluation of contract change order requests and submittals
Contract change order coordination between Contractor and City
Review of submittals in support of claims and disputes, and recommendations
for resolution thereof

5. Field Inspection
Monitoring of corrective actions taken by the Contractor needed to fix work
that is not in compliance with Contract Documents.

6. SHARE HOLDER EXPECTATIONS

The proposed bridge should be constructed with all requirements given by
Think Tech Engineering Consultants and Constructions (Pvt) Ltd fulfilled.

7. PROJECT REQUIREMENTS
The evaluation of the bridge is 4m from the drainage bed level. Span of the
bridge is 1.5m and the width of the bridge is up to 0.5m (provided a person can
comfortably walk inside). Load carrying capacity is around 700N.The designer
has the freedom to choose the superstructure and the substructure is existing.
The preferred material for construction is timber and the architectural style
should contemporary. The duration of the contract is 12 weeks

The constructors who are willing to participate should confirm to Think Tech Engineering
Consultants and Construction s within 4 days of receiving the RFP their Intent to Respond.
A failure to confirm will be signify that a construction company is not participating in the
RFP and Think Tech Engineering Consultants and Constructions will require an immediate
return of the RFP.

All basic constructors confirming their participation should send the Intent to respond to

FEE PROPOSAL
1. Two copies of your proposed fee shall be submitted in a separate sealed envelope,

within the proposal package, plainly labeled Fee Proposal with the prime companys
name and the project title.

2. The fee shall include services for construction engineering/management and

coordination of environmental mitigation measures.

3. The fee proposal shall include a cover letter stating the actual cost-plus-fixed fee, and
separate fee schedules depicting individual project tasks, staff hours, and basic hourly
charge rates. The fee proposal shall reflect all anticipated fee increases during the
contract duration.

4. The fee proposal will be opened after Consultants have been evaluated by the proposal
committee. The Think TechEngineering will select Contractor based on qualifications.
The final contract price may be negotiated
