Bachelor in Computer Applications (BCA)

Objectives: The basic objective of this programme is to open a channel of admission to

computer courses for students who have cleared the 10+2 and are interested in taking up
computing as a career. After acquiring the Bachelors Degree in Computer Applications at IGNOU,
there is a further educational opportunity to enroll for the second year of MCA at IGNOU or a
Masters programme at another University

The admission in BCA is taken for July and January session.

10+2 or Its Equivalent
STUDENT ATTENDANCE
For theory counseling session there is no compulsion of attendance. However in counseling
sessions of Lab courses, 70% attendance is compulsory.
