Sociology

Sociology: The study of human life and societies based on observation of behaviors.
Sociology was born in the middle of transformations of societies, their developments
and their relations with other societies.

Society: Group of people share the same common backgrounds lives in a certain
geographical area in a certain time, a subject to the same political authority, governed
by the same laws.

Phenomena: are considered as including all behavior which influences or is

influenced by organisms sufficiently alive to respond to one another. This includes
influences from past generations.

The fundamental principle of social phenomena is that it is created by society, as opposed to

something that occurs naturally in the world.

Positivism: is the term used to describe an approach to the study of society that relies
specifically on scientific evidence, such as experiments and statistics, to reveal a true
nature of how society operates.
