Format:
Each team will be seeded within a flight. They will then play each team within their flight to
accumulate as many points as possible. The team with the most points in each flight will be
deemed the winner of the flight. The winners of each flight will participate in the final
round sudden death elimination shootout.
Flights:
The flight winner will be the team with the highest overall points in each flight. If there is a
tie, the head to head match will determine the flight winner. If two teams are still tied there
will be a blind chip o near the 18th green to determine the winner.

Shootout:
Each of the flight winners will play in a true alternate shot format from the tee to green
resulting in one score. Format is stroke play. Each team will play from the back tee, unless
an exception applies.

The Shootout field will reduce by one team on each hole. One team will be eliminated on
the second hole and continued until only one-team remains. The highest score on each hole
will be eliminated. If there is a tie, those teams will compete in a blind chip o.
Handicaps:
The flights are seeded according to combined handicap indices. In the event of a tie of two
teams handicap indices, the lower handicap index of a member decides the seeding. All
handicaps will be verified by the most recent update.
Partners 18 hole course handicap shall be within 10 strokes of one another. If they should
fall outside of this range the higher handicap index will be reduced until their handicap falls
into the 10 shot dierential. Thus teams will be seeded within flights according to lower
handicap index.
All players will receive 100% of their strokes based on the dierence between their 9-hole
handicap and that of the lowest handicap player. shots apply.
Rules:
The rules set fourth by the R&A will govern all play except when local rules apply
If a golfer is 65 and older, they will be allowed to play from the Middle Tees. Please inform
the professional sta before playing. Members will sacrifice 2 shots from their course
handicap.
The player is responsible to check that each scorecard is correct.
All sandy areas will not be considered bunkers.
Maintenance paths are considered cart paths.

Price:
$2,500 NZD per team. Fee includes all gifts, prizes, food and beverages (excluding top
shelf) from dinner on the 15th through to the Awards Reception Party on the 17th. Caddie
fees and gratuitys are not included in the entry fee.
