Folic acid deficiency anaemia: Folic acid is essential for the production of new
red blood cells in the body. Spinach, green beans, sprouts, chickpeas, brown ri
ce, etc. are good sources of folic acid. A lack of folic acid in the diet is the
most common cause of folic acid deficiency anemia.
