Mac OS X system Gaussian

09 Installation Guide
In order to perform the Gaussian 09, you need to set some of the UNIX
environment variable for each user of the account. If you are familiar with UNIX,
you can set up the G09 according to the installation guide of

step 1.
Before you install the GaussView, please install the Gaussian 09 or Gaussian
Utilities.

step 2.

display the CD contents.

gv-50x-Mac * .tgz ( x is the minor version number, * the platform version: *
= PPC for PowerPC Mac / * = Intel for Intel Mac) and double-click the icon.

expanded in the download folder in the case of
download (Downloads) folder exists.
Recommended installation is the same parent folder as the Gaussian
09 or Gaussian Utilities folder.

the gv folder in the same location as the g09 folder.
For example, if you install Gaussian 09 to the /
Applications folder (/ Application / g09), gv folder also move to the /
Applications folder (/ Application / gv).

Select the gv folder, press Command-I.
Get Info dialog box will appear (you can open from the "Get Info" in the
Japanese environment). Click on the arrow next to the Ownership &
Permission, make sure the owner information (Ownership) & privilege
information (Permission) (In a recent Mac OS X Japanese environment,
"sharing and access rights").
Modify the same contents as the owner information and authority information
that you set when you installed the Gaussian 09 or Gaussian Utilities.
