The Learning Resource Center caters to the academic needs of the students and faculty members
of Lipa City Colleges. It holds a wide collection of books, journals, periodicals, and audio-visual
materials that are aimed to further promote the instructional, curricular, and research thrusts of the
institution. It also provides Orientation and Bibliographic Instruction to users who may need

The LRC is open from 7.30am to 7pm (Mon Fri) and from 7.30 am to 12nn (Sat) during
regular semesters, from 8am to 5 pm (Mon Fri) and from 8am to 12nn (Sat) during semestral
breaks, and from 7:30 am to 6 pm (Mon Fri) and from 7:30am to 12 nn (Sat) during summers.
,:,,A library card is needed to be given access to library services.,:,,New students and transferees
must present to the Circulation Section of the LRC their Enrolment Assessment Form and a 1 x 1
picture. Old students, on the other hand, may have their library card revalidated and renewed by
presenting their Enrolment Assessment Form.,:,,Students may borrow and loan out / bring home
books classified under the Reserved and Circulation sections. Books under these categories are the
ones that students would find most useful because they are those listed as textbooks and / or
references fin the subjects they are enrolled in.,:,,An overload is a subject that a student may want
to take in addition to the regular course load reflected in the curriculum. To enroll in such a
subject, a student must submit to the Registrar a letter of request duly approved by the concerned
Dean. Upon approval, the student must then proceed to Window 5 or 6 to have the overload
encoded and registered.,:,2012-07-09,,The book/s to be borrowed, together with the Library card,
must be presented to the Circulation Desk Clerk for processing. ,:,,Only the books classified under
the Circulation Section may be loaned out. These include the Professional, Filipiniana, and Fiction

Filipiniana collections may be loaned out for a night while those from the Fiction section may be
borrowed for a week. Renewal of loan is subject to the availability and demand for the concerned

Failure to return borrowed books on time shall be subject to a P20 fine per day and per book
borrowed.,:,,A P50 replacement fee must be paid to the Accounting Office. The receipt together
with the school ID must then be presented to the Circulation Desk Clerk of the LRC for the
processing of new library card.,:,,The LRC provides wi-fi access for its users academic and
research needs.
It also has the OPAC On-line Public Access Catalogue a search engine that provides
computerized access to library collection in terms of titles, author, and subject.,:,,Regular students
must pay P6.000 as down payment. Scholars (students who are given tuition fee discount), on the
other hand, may only pay P2,000.,:,,Credit card payments are not accepted. Payments may be in
the form of checks provided that these are dated and paid to LCC.,:,,Regular students must have
all his accounts settled before the schedule of the semi-final exams while scholars must have
already paid in full their miscellaneous fees by the preliminary exam schedule.,:,,Change of
schedule may still be done after enrollment. This must be made during the schedule of changing,
adding, and dropping of subjects which is usually 4 days after the opening of classes. The
corresponding form which may be obtained from the office of the concerned Dean must be
accomplished and submitted to the Registrars Office / Records Section for approval.,:,2012-0702,,Scholarship discounts get deducted from a scholars account after the Students Affair Office
has forwarded to the Accounting Office a fully-accomplished Scholarship Form.,:,,The student
must write for countersigning and approval of the Dean or Principal a letter stating the reason/s for

section shall then forward the letter to the Accounting Office. Only after the approval of the

submitted together with photocopied IDs of both the student and his / her parents to the

Graduates who would be requesting for a Certificate of Good Moral Character and Form 137A for
employment purposes must pay P50 to the Accounting Office for each of these documents. The
Certificate shall be processed and released within the day while Form 137A shall be available 3
days after the filing of request and payment of fee.
High school graduates who would be requesting for a Certificate of Good Moral Character and
Form 137A for college enrolment must first file and submit a Clearance Form. Upon clearance and
payment of P50 to the Accounting Office, the Certificate of Good Moral Character shall be
processed and released within the day. To obtain Form 137A, a Letter of Request from the school
where the student has enrolled for college must be submitted to the Registrars Office and a
payment of P50 must be made to the Accounting Office. The document shall then be released after
3 days.
Undergraduates who are requesting for the same documents must also comply with the procedures
set for high school graduates.

officer and administrator, executive, adviser, consultant or agent in any government or private
agency, technician and experts in Dactyloscopy, ballistics, questions documents, police
photography, lie detection, forensic chemistry and other scientific aspects of crime detection,

In behalf of the faculty members, employees, and administration, I would like to welcome
everybody to the College of Criminology, Top Performing School for Topnotch
Criminologists. The College of Criminology is one of the youngest among the several offerings
of the institution, which started in School Year 2000 -2001 envisioned by the late President, Carlos
R. Mojares, to provide quality education at affordable cost among Lipenos and its surrounding
community. All faculty members are board topnotchers, former practitioners or presently
employed as professional criminologists in the PNP Crime Laboratory and the National Bureau of
Investigation, they are the trainors in their respective field. The College also boasts complete

everybody to the College of Criminology, Top Performing School for Topnotch
Criminologists. The College of Criminology is one of the youngest among the several offerings
of the institution, which started in School Year 2000 -2001 envisioned by the late President, Carlos
R. Mojares, to provide quality education at affordable cost among Lipenos and its surrounding
community. All faculty members are board topnotchers, former practitioners or presently
employed as professional criminologists in the PNP Crime Laboratory and the National Bureau of
Investigation, they are the trainors in their respective field. The College also boasts complete
Laboratory facilities and top of the line equipment/instruments which enables its students to a well
