KVTC - Taking the DIS out of

DISABILITY

Was there a need for KVTC?

IC people are a significant 8% of Pakistans population
Lack of awareness about:
Preventive measures &/or early intervention
What they really are capable of

They are the most marginalized & vulnerable people in

the country
For an estimated 600,000 IC people in Karachi, there are
only 35-40 SEN schools
Virtually no Practical training & knowledge available
for IC people, that would enable them to survive in the real
world independently
