Dr. Seyedmehdi Mobini,Georgia Small Ruminant Research & Extension Center, Fort Valley State University, Fort Valley, GA
The drugs listed in this table are commonly used in goats. There are only a few drugs approved by the FDA to be used in goats. Use of drugs listed as extralabel is legal only if prescribed by your veterinarian in the context of a valid client-patient relationship. The withdrawal times for various drugs were
compiled from different sources. The listed dosages and withdrawal times, as well as drug status and legality of use, is subject to change. Your veterinarian will
prescribe the latest, most up-to-date drugs, dosages, and provide the correct withdrawal period. Consult your veterinarian before beginning any treatment.
