The brand Amys Baking Company is Arizona based company whose owner and co founder
is is Miss Samy Bouzaglos. Samy resides in Scottsdale which is in Arizona.
There is always a scenario where people do not agree with each other and their opinions
causes a rift. However, on social media the rest of the world is there to judge and has the right
to have an opinion. In the fall of August 2010, there was a similar such disagreement between
Samys company and a customer. This had a negative set back on the company and also
publicity good or bad does draw a lot of attention. It is difficult to take criticism however the
baking couple had to have a go at the customer. As we are aware that the customer is always
right the reviews and posts went viral on Yelp. As it were her own baby, Amys could not read
bad about the bakery and her baking skills, hence she defended it will all her will. However,
the customers had called her unpleasant names. Low ratings for the bakery were given in
showing their anger by the customers. Amys was shamed on the social media sites
(Amanda ,2013).
Amys had to do something quick to make up for her loss image. Mean while Kitchen
Nightmares was the most talked show on social media and television. Husband and Wife
participated on the show and to save their bread and butter. there were many alarming
incidents that took place. The irony was that they were yelling and firing the wait staff while
they were taking the staffs Token in Praise which was extra income for the workers. Not
only that the fresh baked Raviolis were nothing but frozen defrosted to be remade and served.
Gordon never before this has stepped out of the show knowing how hot headed he is but is
respect for his customers is so high he could see them being insulted and wasting their time
anymore and hence he did so (Romano & Tricia, 2013).
Gordon Ramsay said what he had to making the couple look bad in the eyes of the audience.
Althought he couple shared their side of the story they were only blowing their own trumpet.
The joke was finally on them. This ensured and entertained audience. (KNOWING THE
Boundaries, 2014). The kitchen was a mess and everything was haywire.the customer was
treated like dirt.the willingness to unlearn and re- learn was nt ther in Samy and her spuse and
hence even after fixing over 80 restaurants Gordon had struggled. Samy and Amy dint care to
respect their mentor (Lyerly & Lyerly,2014). There was an incident in the show where a staff
was asked to leave on the job. Amy even thought of calling the police on the customer
(Rashid, 2013). It is always advisible to accept ones mistake than by claiming that the
computer was hacked for some reasons. It takes a lot to accept and let go. No one feels small
or big in the process. As the pilot episode came on air, Amy dint have great things to say. She
said aweful things about her children. Comparing them to cats and having their souls. the
negativity on facebook continued and Amy could not stand the peoples thinking and thought
process in her regards. She shunned out to them by saying the following. "I AM NOT
STUPID ALL OF YOU ARE. YOU JUST DO NOT KNOW GOOD FOOD. IT IS NOT
UNCOMMON TO RESELL THINGS WALMART DOES NOT MAKE THEIR
ELECTRONICS OR TOYS SO LAY OFF!!!! according to the thumb rule , one never writes
or comments anything in caps. It appears to be that one is yelling at someone. This also
means that even if you are right you are wrong for doing something like that(Petri &
Alexandra, 2013). The owners after goofing it up came up with the fancy idea of passing on
the buck. They claimed they the social media accounts , Twitter , YELP and Facebook were
hacked and misused. The police and FBI cybercrime was investigating and guaranteed them
that none of this would happen. Nevertheless, when things go out of hand one should take

restaurateurs and internet followers, 2013). Firing from onethers shoulder and continuing
doing so even after being wrong shall only bring about negativity. The reviews were over 3
million. To cover-up the bad that was already done apublic realtion firm was put the dirty
task. The hacked account had material taken down. Overflow comments on The Reddit was
sagin blamed on third party doings. (Streuli & Ted, 2014)
