Directions: Study the following information carefully and answer the questions given below :
L, M, P, Q, U and B are six friends living on different floors in the same building having six floors numbered
one to six (the ground floor is numbered one, the floor above it is numbered two and so on, and the top most
floor is numbered 6). All of them have doors of different colors viz Brown, Black, Orange, Green, Blue and
Red but not necessarily in the same order.
L and Q live on the even number floor, and the color of their doors is Green and Red respectively. Three
persons live on the floor between Q and B. The one who lives on the first floor has brown color door. The floor
which B lives is below the floor on which Q lives. The door of 5th floor is blue color. The color of U's door is
Orange. P does not live immediate below of Q's floor.

Griraj, Pappu, Ranjeet, Surajbhan, Anant, Rajiv and Lalan are famous politician and have liking for
different games viz. Carrom, Table Tennis, Badminton, Bridge, Hockey, Football and Lawn Tennis but not
necessarily in the same order. Each one of them has also liking for different musical instrument viz. Sitar,
Guitar, Harmonium, Flute, Tabla, Banjo and Santoor not necessarily in the same order.
Pappu likes Carrom and Banjo. Anant likes to play Bridge but not Harmonium or Tabla. The one who
plays Hockey plays Sitar. Rajiv plays Guitar but not Table Tennis or Lawn Tennis. Griraj plays Badminton

3.Study the following information carefully to answer the given questions.
Eight person from different countries viz.. USA, India, UK, Australia, China, Nepal,Switzerland and
Russia are sitting in two parallel rows containing four people each, in such a way that there is an equal
distance between adjacent persons. In row-1 Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber and Jennifer
Aniston are seated and all of them are facing south. In row-2 Johnny Deep, Will Smith, Katy Perry and
Beyonce are seated and all of them are facing north. Therefore, in the given sitting arrangement each
member seated in a row faces another member of the other row. (All the information given above does not
necessarily represent the order of seating as in the final arrangement).
Justin Bieber sits second to the right of the person from Russia. Katy Perry is an immediate neighbor of the
person who faces the person from Russia. Only one person sits between Katy Perry and the person from
UK. Immediate neighbor of the person from UK faces the person from Switzerland. The person from USA
faces the person from China. Katy Perry is not from China. Johnny Depp is not from UK. Johnny Depp
does not face the person from Russia. Will Smith faces the person from Australia. The one who faces
Beyonce sits to the immediate left of Michael Jackson. Lady Gaga does not sit at any of the extreme end of
the line. The person from Russia does not face the person from India.
4. Kunal, Lalit, Manish, Nutan, Obama, Prince, Queen and Rishbh live on eight different floors of a
building but not necessarily in the same order. The lowermost floor of the building is numbered one, the
one above that is numbered two and so on till the topmost floor is numbered eight. Each of them also likes a
different superhero, namely Batman, Superman, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Wolverine, Nova and
Ironman, but not necessarily in the same order.
The one who likes Thor lives on an even-numbered floor. Only three people live between the one who likes
Thor and Manish.
Only two people live between Manish and Nutan. Nutan does not live on the lowermost floor.Only three
people live between Nutan and one who likes Hulk.
Obama lives immediately above Kunal. Obama lives on an even-numbered floor. Kunal does not like
Hulk. Kunal lives neither on the floor numbered three nor five.
Only two people live between Kunal and the one who likes Nova.
Only one person lives between the one who likes Nova and Ironman. The one who likes Ironman lives
below the one who likes Nova.

Lalit lives immediately above Queen. Only one person lives between Queen and the one who likes Captain

5. Eight people Ela, Fan, Gun, Henry, Watson, Xcock, Yaami and Zarin are sitting in two parallel rows
containing four people each. Ela, Fan, Gun and Henry are sitting in row-1 facing north and Watson, Xcock,
Yaami and Zarin are sitting in row-2 facing south (but not necessarily in the same order). Thus, each
person sitting in row-1 face another person sitting in row-2. Each of the two rows consists of one Doctor,
one Engineer, one Pilot and one Scientist (but not necessarily in the same order).
The Doctor of row-1 sits second to the right of Henry.Xcock faces one of the immediate neighbours of
Henry. Only one person sits between Xcock and the Scientist.
The one who faces the Scientist of row-2 is an immediate neighbour of Ela. Only one person sits between
Ela and the Pilot.
Watson sits second to the right of Zarin. Yaami does not face Gun. The Scientist of row-1 faces the

Sonata, Q&Q, HMT and Fastrack, five different type of cars, viz WagonR, Alto, Santro, Swift and Micra
and also five different types of pens, viz Linc, Reynolds, Parker, Cello and Montex.
Questa likes WagonR but does not like Parker or HMT.
Lalit likes Sonata and Reynolds but he does not like Micra, Manish likes Micra and Q&Q.
Roshni likes Santro and Cello.
The person who likes WagonR also likes Fastrack.
Linc pen is liked by the person who likes Swift and HMT.
7.Seven people, P, Q, R, S, T, U and V have a seminar, but not necessarily in the same order, in seven
different months (of the same year), namely January, February, March, June, August, October and
December. Each of them also likes a different fruit, namely Banana, Grapes, Papaya, Orange, Mango,
Litchi and Apple, but not necessarily in the same order.
R has a seminar in a month which has less than 31 days. Only two people have a seminar between R and S.
The one who likes Banana has a seminar immediately before S. Only one person has a seminar before the
one who likes Papaya. Q has a seminar immediately after the one who likes Papaya. Only three people have
a seminar between Q and the one who likes Mango. T likes neither Mango nor Papaya. P has a seminar
immediately before T. V likes Apple. The one who likes Grapes has a seminar in the month which has less
than 31 days. The one who has a seminar in March does not like Orange.
8. A, B, C, D, K, L and M live on seven different floors of a building but not necessarily in the same order.
The lowermost floor of the building is numbered one, the one above that is numbered two and so on till the
topmost floor is numbered seven. Each one of them also likes different games namely. Snooker, Badminton,
Chess, Ludo, Cricket, Hockey and Polo (but not necessarily in the same order.)
Only three people live between B and K. B lives on one of the floors above K. K does not live on the
lowermost floor. Only one person lives between B and the one who like Chess. The one who likes Polo lives
on one of the even numbered floors above the one who like Chess.
Only two people live between M and the one who likes Chess. The one who likes Snooker lives immediately
above M. A lives immediately above L. A does not like Chess.
The one who likes Ludo lives on one of the odd numbered floors below L. M does not like Ludo. D lives on
one of the Floors above C. Only one person lives between the one who likes Cricket and the one who likes
Hockey. D does not like Cricket. M does not like Badminton.

9. P, Q, R, S, T, U and V are seven friends having different professions, viz HR, Lawyer, Operator,
Shopkeeper, Businessman, Teacher and Doctor. Each of them has a different choice of food, viz Pizza,
Pasta, Biryani, Paneer Tikka, Manchurian, Chow Mein and Dosa, but not necessarily in the same order. Q
does not like Manchurian or Biryani. S is an Operator. R is a Lawyer and likes Dosa.
The one who is a Shopkeeper likes Chow Mein. P likes Pizza but is not an HR. U likes Pasta and is a Doctor.
The one who likes Manchurian is a Businessman. V does not like Chow Mein and is not a Businessman. Q
likes Chow Mein. T is not an HR. V is not an Operator and does not like Dosa or Manchurian.
10. P, Q, R, S, T, U, V and W are eight friends sitting around a square table, two on each side. All of them
facing away from centre and sit opposite to another. There are three female members and not seated next to
oneanother. V sits between T and Q. W is a female member who sits second to the left of V. Q is not a
female member who sits opposite of P, who is a female. S sits third to the left of U and S is not a male
member.

staying each on one of these floors mentioned above. A is staying on Floor no. 6. There is a gap of three
floors between G and R. C is staying on the topmost floor. Neither P nor M is staying on floor no. 5. Q is
staying in the middle of floor P and M. R is staying on floor no. 1. M is not an immediate neighbor of G.
14. There are six family members I, J, K, L, M and N. All of them like a different colour, viz Blue, Red,

likes Yellow. The one who likes Red is married to I. There are only two married couples in the family. K
likes Orange and is married to the one who likes White. J is mother of N and M. M is sister of N.

15. Ten people are sitting in two parallel rows having five people each in such way that there is equal
distance between adjacent persons. In row-1, Jack, Krish, Leon, Monty and Nathan are seated (not

necessarily in the same order) and all of them are facing south. In row-2 Vivan, Wasim, Xcock, Yaami and
Zarin are seated (not necessarily in the same order) and all of them are facing north. Therefore, in the
given seating arrangement each member seated in a row faces another member of the other row.
Zarin sits third to the right of Wasim. Vivan sits second to the left of Zarin. The person facing Vivan sits on
the immediate right of Krish. Only one person sits between Krish and Monty. Jack is not an immediate

Only one person sits between the son of M and S. J sits on the immediate right of R. R is neither the son nor

21.Seven companies P, Q, R, S, T, U and V provide Products for seven different shops, viz S1, S2, S3, S4, S5,
S6 and S7, but not necessarily in the same order. There is one day weekly off in each company from Monday to
Sunday but not necessarily in the same order. No two company, have the same weekly off day.

Company R provides products for shop S2 and is not closed either on Friday or on Wednesday.
Company S provides products for shop S1 and Thursday is its weekly off day.
Company T and U do not provide products for shop S5 and neither of these has Wednesday as
weekly off day.
Company Q provides Products for shop S4 and remains closed on Sunday.
The one which provides products for S6 has Tuesday as weekly off day.
Company V provides products for S7 and remains closed on Monday.
Company T does not provide products for S3.

22.Ten persons John, Krish, Leon, Menon, Nathan, Pollock, Queen, Ricky, Smith and Tret are sitting in two
rows with five persons in each row. The persons in row one are facing south and the persons in row two are
facing north. Each person in row one faces a person from the other row.
All of them like a different soft drink, viz Sprite, Slice, Pepsi, Maaza, Fanta, Mirinda, Limca, 7up, Nimbooz

necessarily in the same order.

Shane is a CS but he does not watch Discovery Channel or DD News. Vivan is neither a Doctor nor a
Businessman, but he watches DD News. Ricky, who is a Professor, does not watch Zee News or BBC News.
Uber watches News Nation and he is a Player. Pravin is not a Businessman, but he watches Discovery
channel. The one who is a Businessman watches BBC News. Tim is a Reporter and he does not watch Aaj
Tak. The one who is a Professor does not watch Star News.
