4. The accommodation booked is not transf erable and is v alid only if the ORIGINAL ID card prescribed is presented during the journey . The ERS/VRM/MRM along with v alid id card of any one
the passenger booked on e-ticket proof in original would be v erif ied by TTE with the name and PNR on the chart. If the Passenger f ail to produced/display ERS/VRM due to any
ev entuality (loss, damaged mobile/laptop etc.) but has the prescribed original proof of identity , a penalty of Rs.50/- per ticket as applicable to such cases will be lev ied. The ticket checking
staf f on board/of f board will giv e excess f are ticket f or the same.
5. E-ticket cancellations are permitted through www.irctc.co.in by the user.
6. PNRs hav ing f ully waitlisted status will be dropped and the names of the passengers will not appear on the chart. They are not allowed to board the train. Howev er the namesof PARTIALLY
waitlisted/conf irmed and RAC will appear in the chart.
7. Obtain certif icate f rom the TTE /Conductor in case of (a) PARTIALLY waitlisted e-ticket when LESS NO. OF PASSENGERS trav el, (b)A.C.FAILURE, (c)TRAVEL IN LOWER CLASS. This
original certif icate must be sent to GGM (IT), IRCTC, Internet Ticketing Centre, IRCA Building, State Entry Road, New Delhi-110055 af ter f iling TDR online within prescribed time f or claiming
ref und.
8. In case of Partial conf irmed/RAC/Wait listed ticket, TDR should be f iled online within prescribed time in case NO PASSENGER is trav elling f or processing of ref und as per Railway ref und
rules
9. While TDR ref und requests are f iled & registered on IRCTC website www.irctc.co.in, they are processed by Zonal Railway s as per Railway Ref und Rules.(detail av ailable on www.irctc.co.in
under heading General Inf ormation.
10. In premium special train cancellation is not allowed.
11. No ref und shall be granted on the conf irmed ticket af ter f our hours bef ore the scheduled departure of the train.
12. No ref und shall be granted on the RAC or Waitlisted ticket af ter thirty minutes bef ore the scheduled departure of the train.
13. In case, on a party e-ticket or a f amily e-ticket issued f or trav el of more than one passenger, some passengers hav e conf irmed reserv ation and others are on RAC or waiting list, f ull
ref und of f are , less clerkage, shall be admissible f or conf irmed passengers also subject to the condition that the ticket shall be cancelled online or online TDR shall be f iled f or all the
passengers upto thirty minutes bef ore the scheduled departure of the train.
14. For Suv idha Train , only 50% ref und is allowed in case of cancellation of Conf irm/RAC tickets upto 6 hours bef ore the scheduled departure of the train or preparation of chart whichev er is
earlier.
15. In case of Train Cancellation, f ull ref und will be granted automatically by the Sy stem.
16. Passengers are adv ised not to carry inf lammable/dangerous/explosiv e/articles as part of their luggage and also to desist f rom smoking in the trains.
