1 Objective
To demonstrate Ethernet connectivity to MPLS Ethernet Router from the Customer
Network via MADM using Nomus Gateway RB/2M/IP, Gateway 2M/2W/V.35 and Gateway
RB/V.35/IP. This is required as alternative to E1 Interface.

2 Objective
To demonstrate Ethernet connectivity to MPLS Ethernet Router from the Customer
Network via MADM & 2 STM-1s on SDH network using Nomus Gateway RB/2M/IP,
Gateway 2M/2W/V.35 and Gateway RB/V.35/IP. This is required as alternative to E1

3 Summary
Data was extended via Ethernet interface, instead of via E1 Interface ports was extended to MADM
from MPLS Ethernet Routers. This Data on Ethernet Interface was successfully transported over
SHDSL using Nomus Products and provided on V.35 Interface for connectivity to Customer V.35
Router. This can be an alternate solution for providing MPLS circuits to Customers without E1
Interfaces.
Alternately, MPLS Circuits can be terminated via SHDSL at Customer Network on Ethernet Interface
also, instead of V.35 Interface. This can be done by using a pair of Nomus GW e/ES units instead of
the units used in the above demonstration. The advantage with this method would be that higher
Bandwidths from 64Kbps to 15Mbps can be provided. Bandwidth can be increased from 64Kbps in
steps of 64K depending on the Customer requirements, without any additional purchases,
installations or change in infrastructure as shown in below Fig,..
