Ringworm
Is a common fungal infection of the skin and is not due to a worm.The medical term for ringworm is tinea. The
condition is further named for the site of the body where the infection occurs.Ringworm causes a scaly,
crusted rash that may appear as round, red patches on the skin.Other symptoms and signs of ringworm include
patches of hair loss or scaling on thescalp, itching, and blister-like lesions.
Pathogen: Fungi
Effects: Itchiness, reddish on skin
Spread: The disease is spread through contacts and share of personal belongings
Is an infection caused by the rubella virus. This disease is often mild with half of people not realizing that they are

A rash may start around two weeks after exposure and last for three days. It usually starts on the face and
spreads to the rest of the body
Rubella infections are prevented by active immunisation programs using live, disabled virus vaccines.

AIDS
Following initial infection, a person may experience a brief period of influenza-like illness. This is typically followed
by a prolonged period without symptoms. As the infection progresses, it interferes more and more with
the immune system, making the person much more susceptible to common infections, like tuberculosis, as well
as opportunistic infections and tumors that do not usually affect people who have working immune systems. The
late symptoms of the infection are referred to as AIDS. This stage is often complicated by an infection of the lung
known as pneumocystis pneumonia, severe weight loss, skin lesions caused byKaposi's sarcoma, or other AIDSdefining conditions.

Common Cold
he common cold is a viral infection of your upper respiratory tract your nose and throat. A common cold is

the watery eyes, sneezing and congestion or maybe all of the above. In fact, because any one of more than 100
viruses can cause a common cold, signs and symptoms tend to vary greatly.
