The worlds major Denim and How they Shape the Global Denim Industry
Introduction
The world major denim exhibitions and events have influenced the fashion industry
immensely. Key players in the industry showcase their innovations through these events and set
the standards through offering unique designs and market solutions for fashion icons. There are
many events that have set the standards in denim industry which include blue zone by Munich
fabric, Amsterdam denim days, denim PV, and BPD expo in different parts of the world. The
world major denim exhibitions and events have managed to bring together some of the smartest
and outstanding designers, denim heads and professionals from all over the world with the core
objective of show casing latest innovations and designs. These events have set the pace for
innovations and new standards, new designs, fabric, colors as well as other dynamics as
witnessed in the denim industry. For instance, they bring together the world-renowned denim
manufacturers, best mills, and launderers that help to shape the direction of innovations and ideas
into the industry (Jackson and Tim 168). The major denim shows give the innovators and major
brands to showcase their products and open up markets and exchange of ideas, skills, and
knowledge among the global icons in the industry. Major denim makers such as Agave Denim,

Amsterdam denim days
Amsterdam denim days have brought together several actors in the industry including
major partners in the industry to promote some of the latest innovations in the industry. For
instance, the 2015 edition was a six days success story in Amsterdam. The theme of last years
event was the indigo inspiration and was attended by over 400 companies worldwide. The event
attracted visitors from U.S, Japan, Canada and Europe. The event brought together major brands

world as well as fiber producers and laundries.

single event, more than 3000 different collections and brands of new products were showcased.
This show has been able to promote some of the best innovators and mark the history of denim
products. It not only presented some of the best producers in various cultural segments but also a
better platform where these innovators can reap revenue from popularizing their products to the
target markets. The event being major promotional platforms brought on board major players
and partners on board as part of promoting a sustainable denim industry. It also gave a platform
for the denim consumers to connect directly with their labels and brand designers directly.
