This document provides formulas for calculating dimensions and volumes of three types of dish heads: 1) Torispherical heads with a crown radius equal to the diameter and knuckle radius of 1/10 the diameter. Height is calculated as diameter times 0.194 plus thickness. 2) Ellipsoidal heads with a crown radius of 0.9 times the diameter and knuckle radius of 0.17 times the diameter. Height is diameter times 0.25 plus thickness. 3) Hemispherical heads with an inside dish radius equal to half the diameter and a height equal to the diameter/2 plus thickness. It also provides thinning allowance formulas.
