Reflection

Context: The first assignment was one of my first assignment that I did
when entering the program of education at Portland Community College.
The second assignment was also done at Portland Community College it was
one of my first online courses.
Connect: Applies knowledge of federal, state, and district policies and
procedures for: protecting health, safety, and well-being of all learners.
Accessing support programs to meet student needs. Explains the value of
serving all children and youth in supportive, inclusive learning
environments. As shown by both assignments there are changes happening
that will promote all students to inclusive classrooms no matter what their
disabilities.
Contemplation: I know a lot more about fighting for peoples rights then I
did when I first started in the program. There are many more programs out
there that are fighting for the rights of students to be placed in inclusive
classrooms. I know that not all students have the capability to be in an
inclusive classroom all day. The schools are trying to make strides to make
the world a better place for those students who have disabilities.
