Explorer

Make decisions by viewing reports, presentations, dashboards, and scorecards. May approve
and reject plans.

Contributor

Gather information by viewing reports, presentations, dashboards, and scorecards, and

perform analysis on focused areas of responsibility. Contribute to plans by entering data into
templates and applications, and explain variances on reports. May approve or reject plans.

Analyst

Manipulate business data to discover and understand trends and exceptions, and perform
wide-ranging analysis. Create and customize reports and templates for use by others. May
contribute to plans.

Modeler

Define and build multi-dimensional models and applications. Building on a business or financial
background, apply the necessary business logic and map the flow of data into and through the
model for analysis and reports. Design application-level workflow and object-level security.

Scorecard developer

Create scorecarding applications by defining metrics (KPIs) and building metrics cubes, impact
diagrams, custom diagrams, and strategy maps. Deploy and create dashboard layouts for
applications so users can view and contribute to scorecarding activities.

Administrator

Install, configure, upgrade, and support the overall system infrastructure. Responsible for the
operational management of the system including the administration of scheduled processes.
Manage the technical deployment of clients and applications, review hardware and software
requirements, and manage user authentication. Manage the life-cycle of an application.
