Patrind Hydropower Project is 150MW runoff river medium head project.
Major structures include a diversion tunnel, Concrete coffer dam (18m
height), HRT (2.1Km) Concrete Gravity Weir (43m height), Surge shaftand
Powerhouse (3 Francis turbines each of 50MW).
Project Cost:

Duties & Responsibilities:

Supervision of tunnel construction using Drill & blast technique and

NATM design type (temporary Underground support system using Fiber
Reinforced Shotcrete, Rock-bolts and Lattice Girder/H-Beam) in foliated
metamorphic rock (Slates and Phyllites).

Supervise the planning, inspection and supervision of mass concrete

placement in hydraulic structures and buildings.

Supervise the placement of concrete and ensure proper mixing,

placement and consolidation of concrete as per project specifications

Steel and survey inspections of civil structures i.e buildings, tunnels etc.
Verify the conformance of construction material with technical
specifications, manuals and codes along with review of suppliers
certificates

Supervise the quality control procedures for installation of PT anchors for

slope stabilization

Supervise the placement of shotcrete on slopes for stabilization and

associated quality control issues

Supervise the stone pitching works for slope stabilization

Supervise the installation of rockbolts for slope construction and
associated quality control issues

Supervision of tests for curtain and consolidation grouting by GIN method

(Grouting Intensity Number) to verify parameters

Monitoring the convergence measurements in Tunnels
