Dear applicant,
Thank you for your interest in our master programs. You are eligible for an
application to a master program at ITT (NRM, REM or IWRM) if you hold a BSc or BA
in engineering, natural, agriculture, life and earth science, architecture or informatics,
with a visible connection to the relevant MSc program (renewable energy, natural
resources, integrated water resources). In individual cases it is possible that
graduates of other faculties can also receive admission. The examination board of
the ITT reserves the right to decide on such cases.
If you apply for a scholarship you can apply till September 30, 2016 for intake in
winter semester 2017 for the DAAD scholarship program Development-Related
Postgraduate Courses (EPOS)

hand-signed letter of motivation (with reference to current occupation), 1 page in
English
research expos (formulated project idea/research interest) on what you would
be interested in working on during the master thesis (2 pages in English)
2 academic letters of recommendation from your university; the letter must have a
signature and office stamp and must be of recent date (not in a sealed envelope)
professional letter/s of recommendation from your employer; the letter must have
a signature and office stamp and must be of recent date (not in a sealed
envelope)
confirmation of employment from the employer in your home country and, if
possible, a guarantee of re-employment upon your return home
Certified proficiency in English TOEFL (PBT 550 points, IBT 79 points) (note:
institutional TOEFL will not be accepted); IELTS 6.0, CEFR Level C1 or
equivalent certificate
only if available: German language proof of at least beginners level (A1/A2 level)
certified copies of awarded academic degrees
certified copies of academic transcripts
certified copy of School Leaving Certificate

There is no special format required for recommendation letters, motivation letter,

project idea etc.

The application has to be sent as hard copy via mail by September 30 (date of
