Guidelines
- Avoid details in high level DFDs
- No more than 5-7 bubbles in each logical DFD
- Each data flow should have a unique name
- data stores should have flows into and then back out of them
- Include temporary files
- Final recipients of information are external entities
- People or departments precessing data for the current business process are int
ernal entities
- High level DFDs~ only show normal processes
-exceptions only shown in lower level DFDs
