1) Plot I-V characeristics for the circuit shown in fig.1

2) Are 1mA and 1V sources are generating or dissipating power? How

much?

3) Network N shown in fig.3 is a linear and non-reciprocal network. A voltage

source of 10V is applied at 1-1 terminals. Now initially a load of 5 ohms is
connect at 2-2 and a current of 2A is observed through 5 ohms. Then 5 ohms
is disconnected and a load of 15 ohms is connected and now 1A is observed
across 15 ohms. Calculate, the current that flows into a 36 ohms resistor
when it is connected across 2-2 after removing 15 ohms
