Reflection: Developing the matrix and designing the Glog gave me a more comprehensive idea of how I can integrate various
elements of technology into my future classroom. As a theatre major, I often struggle to identify how technology can help
students organize information/theories that apply to acting and theatre. The theatre classroom is an unconventional one, so the
technology that other classrooms utilize does not necessarily work in a theatre classroom. However, by looking at the ways that I
could connect the technology to the theatrical standards using the matrix, I feel more secure in my technological knowledge and
the ways it connects to the classroom. Technology may not be best for students learning brand new concepts in the theatre
classroom, but it can help them organize thoughts and understand the concepts in new and applicable ways. Looking at the
project Ive begun to design above, all theatre students must be able to analyze a play and determine what is most important
about it. Even an actor who does not necessarily need to propose concepts can grow from having to do so because it increases
their analytical skills and awareness of how all the details of a play come together. I can definitely see myself utilizing Glog in the
future and I am looking forward to exploring new technologies and increasing my technological awareness in TPACK.
