Architecture is the constant fight between man and nature, the fight to overwhelm
nature, to possess it. The first act of architecture is to put a stone on the ground.
That act transforms a condition of nature into a condition of culture; its a holy act
(Mario Botta). Discuss.

2. Architecture is really about well-being. I think that people want to feel good in a
space On the one hand its about shelter, but its also about pleasure (Zaha
Hadid). Discuss.
3. 98% of what gets built today is shit (Frank Gehry). Discuss.
