UNEVEN MARRIAGE

Same sex marriage also known as gay marriage is a marriage

between two persons of the same biological sex or gender identity. In our
present time, same sex unions have come to be legalized, mainly in
European countries and United States of America. A lot of Filipino citizens
belong to the LGBT group. Could it be possible that the Philippines would
be the first Asian Country to legalize same sex marriage? Well, I dont
think so. I dont think we should.
There are some reasons why other people want to legalize same sex
marriage. First is, they think that everyone has a sin nature. Everybody
had already committed sins in their own ways and homosexuality is just
one way of doing it. Another reason is that they believe that marriage is a
basic human right and an individual personal choice that no one should
interfere. And lastly, they think that ending discrimination improves the
human spirit and makes all our lives better.
To negate their reasons, I will be enumerating some things that
would disapprove there statements. First of all, even though all of us have
a sinful nature, it doesnt mean we will take advantage of the grace of
God. God created us to glorify him and to do of his will not to what we
wanted because most of the time what we wanted are not supposed to do.
They may say that they have the right to be married. Yes, marriage is a
right but it doesnt mean that youre able to get married with your same
sex and not consider Gods law. They may think that it is against their
freedom, no, it is not. Everyone has their freedom but we should
understand that it has limitations, discipline and responsibilities.
This is the most important reason. Whenever one violates the
natural moral order established by God, one sins and offends God. Same
sex marriage does this. Accordingly, anyone who professes to love God
must be opposed to do it.
We should know that the legalization of same sex marriage is the
cutting edge of sexual revolution. If homosexual marriage is universally
accepted as the present step in sexual freedom, what logical arguments
can be used to stop the next step of incest, paedophilia, bestiality, and
other forms of unnatural behaviour? Indeed, radical elements are already
advocating the wrong doings.

The homosexual movement, whether we acknowledge it or not, is

not a civil right movement, not even a sexual liberation movement, but a
moral revolution aimed at changing peoples view of homosexuality.
