Estimation of Flow Rate from choke data (Surface data): Well: SC-A1
The following empirical equation is used to calculate flow rate from
upstream pressure, GLR value and choke size.
(1) Where A,B,C and D are empirical constants whose values depend on the correlation used (namely, Gilbert and Ross)
Pi = Pressure upstream of choke, psia.
Ql = flowrate, STB/D Fgl= gas liquid ratio, scf/stb. d= chokesize, in terms of /64. The above equation gives value of Q if all other are known. GOR : 33 (v/v) taken for estimation The result for SCA-1 can be tabulated as:
