Preparing Method Statement, Work Schedule and Risk Assessment
Organize and Supervision of Quality plans and inspection and test plans (ITP)
Responsible for procurement and manage the Materials Resource Planning requirements daily.
Project planning (Pre-commencement, Design & Drawing, Construction, Commissioning & Handover)
Coordinate the document controls of quality submittals, shop drawings approvals, rebar schedule and
as-built drawings.
Coordinate the construction of earth stabilization, foundation, lift pit, columns, staircases, CBP and
other structural works
Developing all required concrete mix designs including water tight concrete and temperature controlled
concrete
Under taking surveying and setting out works.
Responsible for soil investigations and evaluating pavement design as well as earthworks.
Monitoring progress throughout the construction process and comparing this with the projected

drainage and culvert construction comply with the drawings, specifications and conditions of
contract.
Design for concrete mix, design of Hot mix Asphalt and handling of quality control testing(field and

Maintain the inspection and instruction records and periodical test records.
Report all issues relating to the construction to the Project Manager weekly and attended Monthly
Progress meeting Prepare report any site issues and with close coordination with the Project Manager

Oversee all the safety precaution such as, safety of worker.
Ensure that a project runs smoothly and that all specifications had been followed according to
planned schedule.

Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for Bored Piling work in soil Investigation, depth confirmation, site-in-charge at
lowering Steel cages, pouring concrete at bored piles and Monitoring in deep Excavation, pile
rectification work
Ensuring quality of bored pile installation and engaging bored pile testing (PIT, PDA & MLT)
In-charge in the earth works, reinforcement works, fixing of duct tubes, inserting of strands, fixing
of inner and outer shutters and concreting works for 48m post-tension beams.
Supervised concrete batching plant, construction of gabion wall, cofferdam and retaining wall.
In-charge for metal forming process of materials (rolling, forging, wire drawing and extrusion)
Monitor the machine shop, Material Identification, Fit-up Inspection, Welding monitoring during
and after welding.
Coordinate with the instrument sub-contractor in the installation of instruments and monitoring the
instrumentation & reports

RESEARCH PROJECT INVOLVED

Research
: Effect of corrosion on the bonding strength of reinforcement steel in concrete
Supervised by : Prof. Munasinghe R. G. N. De S
Analysis the bonding strength for different steel bars at various corrosion levels and investigate the
microstructure of corroded and non-corroded steel samples.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
