Future Prospects for Medical Technology

Experts estimate the market potential for medical technology in Russia at US
$13.6billion by 2020 this corresponds to quadruple the present market volume
(2009:US $3,400million). In particular, hospitals have a considerable investment
backlog which promises good sales prospects for many years. Russian manufacturers
can only serve around 20% of demand for medical technology at present.
