This document contains the most important details about
online transfer
Once you have completed the system measurement successfully or consolidated the
measurement data in the License Administration Workbench (LAW), you can transfer your data
directly to SAP.
GENERAL INFORMATION
SAP ensures that no user related or business relevant data is transferred to SAP, e. g. user names, account
numbers, revenues etc. The system measurement only determines the amount of users per user category
and the amount of engines in use. These data are provided in the measurement log which can be retrieved
in each SAP system.

The data are treated confidentially and processed only within SAP. There is no data transfer to third parties.
REQUIREMENTS
The Service Data Control Center (SDCC) or Service Data Manager (SDCCN) must be active (Notes
178631 and 763561).
You must have authorizations for SDCC_DEV = READ and SDCC_RUN = READ, WRITE for object
S_SDCC for transferring the data.
Procedure
You can check the status of the various system measurement steps and data transfers by selecting
All transfers.

Detailed information about checking the status of transfers is available in the SAP Library under
System measurement Check transfer status.
To display a list of all transfers, select the Display transfers option from the Control LAW box. The
transfer log shows the status of all transfers made.
