VI. OBJECTIVES:
The following are the objectives of implementing this project:
1. To intensify awareness and promote waste segregation and respond to YES O

MPPA F Plastic Free Environment.

2. To minimize the hazards/effects of greenhouse/global warming
3. To serve as YES O project for SY 2016-2017.
VII. RATIONALE:
Youth for Environment in School Organization is an organization mandated by the
Department of Education, next to the Supreme Pupil Government (SPG). Likewise, Ed Order No.
93, s. 2011 Mandated Programs, Projects and Activities, Various Forms and Targets Pertinent to
the Youth for Environment in School Program directs that the organization be functional in the
school. Hence, this project will serve as the starting point.
VIII. PROGRAM MECHANICS:
The project is concerned mainly in constructing a facility that will serve as an office of the
YES O in Labo Elementary School. The following activities shall be undertaken:
1. Meeting with parents, school principal, class advisers and other school personnel.
This will help us encourage adults to support us.
2. Information Dissemination. Every Monday for a month, we will go around the classrooms
disseminating information on the School Waste Management Program and No To Burning
Campaign.
3. Policy Making. We will seek approval of the authority in imposing fines to pupils caught
burning wastes especially plastic..
4. Connecting with Local Entrepreneurs. We will sell plastics and other waste materials to
local entrepreneurs and use the funds to implement our PPAs listed in our action plan.
5. Awarding. We will give awards to classes implementing the Waste Management & NO to
Burning Campaigns Efficiently.
