Management Objectives:
At AquaDrive, we strive to make the world a cleaner, sustainable and green
environment. All of our products conform to both National & International
Greenhouse Emission Standards. Our current carbon footprint is 4,300 tons
of CO2 per year with an ongoing objective to reduce. By implementing
various engineering tactics, AquaDrive will try to reduce that number to
below 2,000. Because our company utilizes water as a resource for our
products, we believe we are creating an environment where natural gas can
be replaced as our primary energy source. We also are in the business of
long-term thinking, therefore top level management has created the
following key goals & objectives
Bi-Annual Product Release Shows
Monthly Employee Engagement Meeting
Quarterly Operations & Administration Meeting

Monthly Management ISO Standard Review

Annual Supplier & Monthly Internal Audits
Daily Quality & Continuous Improvement Checks
Key Processes:
1. Manufacturing of environmental friendly and zero emission products
such as Automobiles, Airplanes and Boats.
2. Customer-driven focus groups

AquaDrive has a heavy focus on keeping the environment and ecosystem in
pristine condition. Over the course of the last few centuries, our world has
advanced in the world of industrial technology. From the invention of
machines that transport us from one location to another, to rapid forms of
communication. As humans we naturally make mistakes, one mistake that
hurts our current situation is global greenhouse gas emissions. These
emissions hurt not only our ecosystem and the living things in it but also
reduce the chance of a sustainable future. By manufacturing water based
transportation, our stance is that we will drastically reduce the dangers of
Global Warming and Ecosystem destruction. The video links above show
what our ecosystem should look like, what we here at AquaDrive want to
protect.

4 Collaborating Companies:
1) Land Rover Discovery:
The Land Rover organization is a car company based in the UK, but is
owned by the Indian company Tata Motors. Their business is in the
manufacturing and selling of premium four wheel drive vehicles that
specialize in off road terrains.
Collaborative Approach: Land Rover will be utilizing our water-based
vehicle approach by building clean cars for all parts of the world. We
will utilize their advanced knowledge and experience in off-road
terrains to understand how to use our technology in different
environments.

2) BMW Group (Mini):

The BMW group is German based manufacturer of luxury vehicles and
motorcycles. They specialize in high class and premium modes of
transportation, be it a BMW, mini cooper, Rolls Royce, and plug in
electric cars.
Collaborative Approach: Being that the company already makes
sustainable types of equipment (electric cars). Our companies can form
an alliance to create hydro-electric cars with both a practical and
luxurious thinking.

3) California Motors, LLC.

California Motors is an American based manufacturer of electric motors

and advanced equipment. They primarily have their business in aiding
the US army and navy. They produce both tactical and non-tactical
vehicles.
Collaborative Approach: California Motors in conjunction with a
partnership with Land Rover & BMW will help us build premium quality
motors and equipment that can be installed in our transportation
types. They benefit in being able to use our water run equipment in
building hydroelectric equipment.
4) Cognex Corporation
The Cognex Corporation is an American based manufacturer of
machine vision systems, software and sensors that are applied in the
automated manufacturing systems in industries. They improve the
automated process by identifying defective parts or products as they
move along in the process.
Collaborative Approach: In complicated manufacturing processes, there
is a required need to produce parts that are 100% safe and compliant.
With the help of the Cognex Corporation, our company can ensure we
produce quality products.

My comments: As we strive toward an advanced technological world,
there comes a "want" for autonomous technology. There are many
advantages and just as much disadvantages to this type of technology.
To see an 18 wheeler monster machine go cross country without
human interaction can be exciting to see but frightening if there were
glitches or failures of the system. However, as always, we will learn
from our mistakes and build better machinery as we go along.

My comments: Accessibility and user interaction is a major key for the
technology world. Most of us were gifted with the power of sight but it
is great to see companies striving to adapt to different forms of
communication. A tablet for the blind can be a useful way to not only
help the visually impaired communicate but I feel can be used for
personal entertainment.

My comments: A common change made in big name companies these

days is the tools needed for sustainability. It's also apparent that the
company wants to keep all of their business within the United States,
which is beneficial for the community and for the current staff
employed at the location. A $90 million dollar investment in their
process is quite significant and it would be quite interesting to see if
this investment impacts costs of their final product (automobiles).
