The summary :
Rebecca Bloomwood was a financial journalist, a writer
for Successful Saving (a financial magazine). She tend to
spend money on anything that catch her eyes, made her in
debt with Endwich Bank in Fulham, which was near with her
flat she lived in with Suze. It made her tried to avoid all of
the letters and calls from the bank.
As a journalist, she went to a lot of conferences. One
day, she met Luke Brandon, a director of Brandon
Communication in a conference. They talked each other and
in the end of the conference Rebecca borrowed twenty
pound sterling from him.
After Rebecca paid back his twenty pound sterling, he
sent back a thank you card and made an impression that he
liked her. One day, after Rebecca had failed to get another
job in a bank, she and Luke had chosen a briefcase which
cost one thousand pound sterling. After Rebecca knew that
he intended to give it to his girlfriend, Rebecca got mad and
then avoided him, although he tried to apologize to her.
When Rebecca returned to her parents house, she
suggested her neighbor to move their financial plan in
Flagstaff Life. After they moved, there was a position

change on Flagstaff Life, made them lost their twenty


thousand pound sterling. Of course it made Rebecca felt
guilty. Then she tried to search for the justice by released a
news in newspaper about them. Soon Luke Brandon, who
had Flagstaff Life as one of his client, made a debate with
her on Morning Coffee (a TV show) and he lost.
After that, Rebecca became a financial consultant in
that program and she earned much money. Then she went
date with Luke Brandon after he and his girlfriend broke up.
She also had paid her debt to the bank using the money she
earned from the Morning Coffee.

What was the purpose of the author?


The purpose was to entertain the reader by giving some
simple example story that could occur in our daily life. For
example : we usually try to avoid our responsibility.

What lesson did you learn from this book?


We should learn how to do our responsibility and try our best
when we need to do it. We should not avoid it, because it
would cause some problems in the future.
