A. COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This seminar course introduces students to the background, history and theology of the sacraments of commitment: Holy
Orders and Matrimony. It is intended to enrich the students understanding of the sacraments and facilitate growth and development in
their personal and communal life of faith.

B. COURSE INTENDED LEARNING OUTCOMES: At the end of the course, the student is expected to:
1. Acquire a complete understanding of the Sacraments of Commitment.
2. Recognize Gods providential love in the sacraments of commitment particularly in the Holy Orders and Matrimony.
3. Contribute to the mission of the Church in promoting the priestly vocation.
4. Build a deeper relationship to God through the Church and their family by fostering the nobility of marriage.
5. Make room for Religious and Ordained Ministry as one of the future considerations in their life.
6. Pray for the priests and families every day.

CS = Class Standing - the average of the sum total of grades for CQ, HW, GR, RQ, SGS, SW, CR and Attendance.
ME = Major Examination Rating - the rating obtained by the student in the preliminary, midterm and final examinations.
