Thegeneralstepsinusing aircrackng is:
1. sudoairmonngstartwlan0
Thisputsyourwirelessinterfaceintomonitormode,whichisthemodewhereyoucan
captureallpackets,eveniftheyweren'tdirectedtoyourcomputer.Whatthecommand
actuallydoesisitcreatesanotherinterfacecalled mon0 ,whichyoucanseewhenyou
do iwconfig .Thisisthecommandthatyouprobablydidn'texecute.Ifyoudidrunitbut
youcan'tsee mon0 afterwards,letusknowwhatwasthecommand'soutput.
2. sudoairodumpng<options>mon0
Thisstartscapturingpackets.

enabledfor[phy0]wlan0on[phy0]prism0)formeitsaysprism0thisistheinterfacethatwas
