REGULATION ORDINANCE NO. 2013-338
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE II OF REGULATION
ORDINANCE NO. 2009-216 (AN ORDINANCE RE-ESTABLISHING

PARKING AREAS FOR ALL VEHICLES IN THE CITY OF ILOILO)

Sponsored by Councilor Plaridel C. Nava II, duly seconded by
Councilors Rodel F. Agado and Lyndon V. Acap
WHEREAS. , there are national highways and significant roads which are inadvertently
omitted in the coverage in the prohibition of on-road parking ordinance;
WHEREAS, these highways and roads are situated in a very significant areas where
considerable number of vehicles are usually passing through;

WHEREAS, there is a need to amend Regulation Ordinance No. 2009-216, to include

other major roads and thoroughfares in the provision of on-road parking ordinance.

NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of

Iloilo, that:
Section 1. - Article II of Regulation Ordinance No. 2009-216 shall be amended, as
follows:

j. The entire stretch of Iznart Street;
k. Valeria Extension (Barangay Nonoy);

l. The entire stretch of Muelley Loney Street.

DISTRICT OF MANDURRIAO

b. R. Mapa Street
c. Q. Abeto Street
d. Guzman-Jesena Street

DISTRICT OF LA PAZ

b. Huervana Street
c. Burgos-Mabini Street
d. Rizal Street

DISTRICT OF JARO

g. Commission Civil Street

h. Mc Arthur Drive (Tabuc Suba to Buntatala)
Section 2. All existing ordinances, executive orders, regulations or parts thereof in
conflict with any of the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed, amended and revised.
Section 3. - If any provision of this ordinance is held invalid by a competent court, the
remained provision shall not be affected thereby.
Section 4. -This ordinance shall take effect after ten (10) days from publication.
