UNMC Cash Card is a contactless stored value smartcard to be used for payment

in Campus at cafeteria, convenience stores and many more. You must load in
cash onto the Card. The cash limit is limited to RM200. There is no credit line
associated with the Card, and no interest will be paid on the cash loaded. The
Card is issued by UNMC and powered by ePetrol. You cannot sell or transfer your
Card to anyone else, and it can only be used by you or someone you have
authorised. For any Card that is authorised for use by a third party, you are
responsible for all transactions made.

3) Registering Your UNMC Cash Card


For Card registration you will need to provide minimal personal information.
ePetrol is committed to protecting your privacy online in accordance with the
Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). What this means for you:
When you register your Card, you must provide your name, NRIC/Passport
Number, date of birth, mobile number, email address and other information that
will allow us to identify you. Any information that you submit or we collect is further
subject to our [Privacy Policy]. We reserve the right to make changes to our
privacy policy. Please read and check our privacy policy at
www.nottingham.edu.my/go/unmccard on regular basis.

4) Using UNMC Cash Card


You may use the Card immediately upon activation to purchase meals, food &
beverages, goods, services or others at participating merchants. Please use the
Card at least once every ninety (90) days to avoid the Card going into a Dormant
status. When a card is Dormant, you will require to perform a reload of any
amount to activate your Card.

5) Liability of Users / Lost or Stolen Card


All Users shall be fully liable for all Transactions effected through the Card and the
online login credential, whether with or without the Users knowledge or authority.
The Users shall take reasonable precautions to prevent loss or theft of the Card.
In the event of any loss or theft of the Card or the disclosure of the online login
credential to any unauthorised person, the Users shall upon discovery thereof
immediately login to www.nottingham.edu.my/go/unmccard to Report Loss in
My Card or change the online login password.
Once the Card reported Lost, Card deposit will be forfeited. If the lost card
subsequently recovered, the User shall return such Card in good condition to the
following counters (during office hours):Student Service Centre (Finance Office Counter)
Trent Building (Block A - Finance Office Counter)

6) Charges to UNMC Cash Card; Sales Slips; Multiple Cards


Each time you use your Card to purchase meals, food & beverages, goods,
services or others, you authorise us to charge the amount against the Card Value.
You are encouraged to keep the Sales Slip/Receipt at the time you make a
transaction using the Card. You may purchase more than one (1) Card. Other
Cards will have its own Card Number and available Card Value, and you are
responsible for any and all charges and fees incurred.

Upon the termination / cancellation of the Card, the Card Deposit and available
Card Balance will be refunded to User payable within 14 business days except
loss card User.

10) Change in Terms & Conditions


Subject to the limitations of applicable law, we may at any time add to, delete or
change the terms & conditions. Your continued use of the Card after such
changes are implemented constitutes your acknowledgement and acceptance of
the changes. Please consult these terms & conditions regularly at

11) Unclaimed Property


If you do not use the Card for several years, applicable law may require UNMC to
report the balance on the Card as unclaimed property. If this occurs, UNMC may
try to locate you at the address last shown in UNMC records.

Participating Merchants have no authority to make representations or warranties


on behalf of ePetrol and/or UNMC, or to bind ePetrol and/or UNMC or to enter
into any agreement on behalf of ePetrol and/or UNMC.

13) Disclaimer of Liability by ePetrol


ePetrol shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused to the User arising from
any act or omission on the part of the Participating Merchant or any defect or
deficiency in any goods or services provided by the Participating Merchant. The
User shall resolve all complaints, claims and disputes against the Participating
Merchant or UNMC directly and not through ePetrol. The User undertakes not to
enjoin ePetrol in any such claims and/or dispute or legal proceedings against the
Participating Merchant. In the event there is a dispute to any Transaction, the
amount deducted for payment towards such disputed Transaction shall not be
refunded unless the User is absolved by UNMC after due investigation from any
liability whatsoever in relation to such disputed Transaction.

14) Business Days

15) Governing Law / Jurisdiction


These Terms & Conditions will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with
the laws of Malaysia. You consent and submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the
state and federal courts located in your primary state of residence with respect to
all controversies arising out of or in connection with the use of the Card and these
Terms & Conditions.

8) Termination / Cancellation of Use of the UNMC Cash Card


The Card is the property of UNMC who is entitled at any time at its absolute
discretion to terminate / cancel the use of and withdraw the Card or suspend its
use or otherwise refuse any Transactions to be effected on the Card if there is any
breach by the User of any of these Terms & Conditions herein contained or in any
other circumstances as UNMC may deem fit at its sole and absolute discretion.

Click First Time Login link.

RM3.00* (Every 6 Months)


Deductible against Card Value upon 1st reload.

Key in Username & Activation Code > click [Submit] > Change
Username & Password.

Subsequent Service Fee will be deducted from


the next reload upon expiry of the six months.

Complete Personal Details & Contact Details > click [Submit]. Online

Click My Card > Add Card > key in Username & Activation Code (as per

Buy a new Starter Pack & log in to www.nottingham.edu.my/go/unmccard to Add
Card in My Card.
Click My Card > Card Listing > View Transactions > Transfer Fund > click
[Transfer].
Card Balance transfer will be processed within 14 business days.

Terms & Conditions


The issuance of the UNMC Cash Card (hereinafter referred to as Card) by The
University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus (hereinafter referred to as UNMC),
powered by ePetrol Systems Sdn Bhd (hereinafter referred to as ePetrol) to the
Card User (hereinafter referred to as User) and the use of the Card by the User
shall be subject to the Terms and Conditions, as well as any other agreements,
disclosures, rules, or notices relating to the Card as may be posted on the
UNMCs website or otherwise, made available to the User at the time of using
and/or at the time of online registration, as applicable, which may be amended
from time to time.

1) Definition
In these Terms and Conditions, unless there is something in the subject or
context inconsistent with such expression or unless it is otherwise expressly
provided:
Starter Pack shall mean the package containing the following: UNMC Cash Card;
RM10.00 Card Value loaded in Card upon activation;
Terms & Conditions;
any other documents or materials as may be provided by UNMC as UNMC
shall deem fit.
User shall mean the person to whom the Card is issued and registered and
as an authorised User to use the Card as provided for in these Terms and
Conditions; the words you and your mean the Card User;

When and How Annual Service Fees are Assessed. Service fee billing cycle
begins on the date when card is activated.

Participating Merchant shall mean any retail or other person, firm or


corporation which pursuant to a merchant agreement agrees to accept or
cause its outlets to accept the Card when properly presented;
Sales Slip/Receipt shall mean the relevant payment slips/receipts, forms or
papers supplied to the Participating Merchant for the purpose of recording,
confirming and evidencing purchases or services incurred by the User through
the use of the Card to be charged to the Card;
Point-of-sale (POS) Terminal and 24 hours Self-Service Payment Kiosk shall
mean a terminal and kiosk of transaction which is capable of reading the chip
on the Card; purchase new Card; balance enquiry of the Card; and reload.
Business Day shall mean any day on which UNMC and ePetrol are open for
business;
Activation Code shall mean the Temporary Online Registration Password
provided for use in conjunction with the online registration. Users will get the
Activation Code upon card activation;
Reload shall mean the adding monetary value to the Card Value;
Transaction shall mean all the transactions debited / credited to the Card or
made using the Card for the purchase of meal, food & beverage, goods,
services or others initiated via any Point-of-sale (POS) Terminals or 24 hours
Self-Service Payment Kiosk and Reload to the Card;
Card Value, Purse Value or Card Balance shall mean any amount in the
Card that is available for Transactions using the Card.
