The desirability of promoting

Separate professional College for Men

INTRODUCTION:
This report has been prepared for the consideration of the Department of Education
Government of Telangana, so as to enable it to decide whether or not to promote separate
professional colleges for men.

PRESENT SITUATION:
At present situation co-educational institutions for all courses is promoting more.
Separate institutions for men also exsit, not as a rule, but as exception, for emption or
political reasons. There are now many institutions, courses for men also. The separate
courses, professional colleges are having different objectives from those of co-educational
institutions. Some of the men are also interested in seeking admission to separate colleges for
men. But most of them prefer co-educational institutions.

ADVANTAGES OF CO-EDUCATION:
Co-education has its merits. Both men and women will learn to respect and
understand each other. They will grow in mutual sympathy and respect. They will have
occasions to appreciate one anothers talent and skills. They will learn how to mingle with
one another, and some of their inhibitions.

DISADVANTAGES OF CO-EDUCATION:
Co-education has got certain disadvantages as against the advantages listed above.
There could be misunderstanding and misadjustment between men and women students.
They may try to insult or even scandalize one another. As once they enter into graduation
from intermediate students feel they got freedom and behave as they like. Due to this

concentration on studies will decrease. The students may create social problems for parents
and the administration.

ADVANTAGES OF SAPERATE PROFESSIONAL COLLEGES:

As the circumstances mentioned above, separate professional colleges for men are
definite advantage. They can pursue their studies without any disturbance, they wont involve
in any other unwanted activities or diversion. They can concentrate on their studies without
wasting their precious time which has is to be ment for improving their skills that helps for
carrier. They will be prepared to discharge their onerous duties and responsibilities as
professional on par with women. Without fluctuating their concentration they can accomplish
their goal.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
In view of the advantages of separate professional colleges for men, the following
recommendations are made :
1. The separate professional colleges are to be established all over the states so that
many of the men can opportunity to get into colleges.
2. They can have separate activities. They can participate without any hesitation.
CONCLUSION:
On the basis of the advantages of separate professional colleges for men, the
establishment of these colleges for the greater good of the nation in general.
