JH 18C1 Flap gate operation Including Chute Cleaning:


First confirm DH3C1 & 19 C1 Belt Conveyors are
running then operate Flap gate by LCS & chute to be
cleaned by pocking rod manually

Positioning of DH3C1 tipper trolly: Position the trolly of


DH3C1 at proper place by LCS ,selection of tipper gate as
per requirment.
Water spray on 7002 Conveyor: As per necessary when
Product sinter is red hot conveying by belt. Operate
the water spraying valve given at enterance of 7.002
tunnel.
Checking and cleaning of conveyor transfer chutes:
Chutes cleaning to be done by pocking rod with help
hand lamp for proper inspection.

Cleaning of cascade Chute: Cascade Chute cleaning to


be done by pocking rod & proper inspection with help
hand lamp.

7.002 Receiving & 7.001 Jamming Clearing: Open the


Inspection door then remove the material from
chutes & find the root cause for jamming. Hand lamp
required for proper inspection.
Chute jamming cleaning (Unplanned): Open the
Inspection door then remove the material from
chutes & find the root cause for jamming. Hand lamp
required for proper inspection.
Damper adjustment of Dedusting ESP fan: at the
starting time of Dedusting Fan the damper should be
closed when fan started then after 1 minute dumper
to be opened slowly.
Damper adjustment of Dedusting Bag filter fan: at the
starting time of Dedusting Bag Filter Fans the
dampers should be closed when fan started then
after 1 minute dumper open slowly
Belt tracking: If belt is running off center then should
check receiving chute, belt tightness or adjust by
carring & returning idlers.
Inspection of screens: observe if there any abnormal
sound coming from Screen & Motor, Counter loads
position, screen pannel body ect. Cheack with safe
distance.

Dry fog system operation as required: If dust


emmission is high for convyeing the product through
belts then dry Fog syatem should start this facility
given at tail end of 7.008,18C1, 19C1 & DH3C1
belts.Nozzle claening should be done in Shut Down.
CaCl2 spray adjustment: If the system is running
then should check water & CaCl2 solution ratio.
Should check nozzle is working properly & solution
sprayed on products.if spray is not proper then stop
the system
& clean
the nozzle.
Chute
jamming
cleaning:
Chute jamming cleaning
generaly done by pocking rod manually. And proper
inspection to be done with help of hand lamp.
Belt Over Load Clearing: If any Conv. Belt stopped
by overload. Then at first take work permit or
shut down to clean the material on belt. After
cleaning the material release shut down & start
the belt in Local mode & observe if ok then
give it in auto mode by LCS.
Hot Material Controlling on belt: If hot material is
coming on belt. First Start water spray on 7.002 belt.
Decrese the RPM of 7.001 vibro feeder so that less
material will come on the belt.Proper safety jacket,
lather hand gloves, nose mask etc are must be used.

Water level checking of soft, receving and makeup water


tank: Level of each tank check physically with hand
lamp and if level found low then fill the tanks.
Soft water prepration: As soft water tank level founds
low then soft water has to prepare to fill the tank.All
valves has to close,open rinse valve of sand filter and
start pump as water gets clean open drain valve and
close rinse valve,repeat same procedure for carbon
filter and ion filter.
Checking of lubrication grease tank: All grease tanks
level has to check with position rod of tank,if required
refill the tank.
Changeover of grease pump: Observe one cycle of
each pump started mannually, if any problem inform
to control room.

Soft water hardness checking: Hardness of soft water


has to check with water hardness testing kit.Take 50
ml of soft water in a flask add 3 drops of Eriochrome
Black T indicator solution,Titrate with 0.01 M EDTA until the
solution turns from wine red to sky blue and count drops and
calculate. Avoid skin contact with chemicals

Back flushing of soft water plant: On preparing soft


water if outlet pressure is low then fill the overhead
tank,pass the overhead tank water through sand
filter outlet to inlet and start blower till water gets
clean repeat process 2-3 times.For carbon filter take
sand filter in line and pass the filtered water through
outlet to inlet of carbon filter,repeate process 2-3
times till clean water gets.
Regenaration of soft water plant:Check overhead
NaCl solution tank and brine measuring tank level then pass
brine solution through outlet-inlet of ion exchanger(resins)
tank and hold solution in that tank for an hour.Take system in
line and drain water and take sample.
Makeup Water Tank Cleaning:Empty the tank
,inspect tank inside crakes and scales,clean tank mannually
and refill water.
Soft Water Tank Cleaning:Empty the tank ,inspect tank
inside crakes and scales,clean tank mannually and refill soft
water.
Raw Water Tank Cleaning:Empty the tank ,inspect tank
inside crakes and scales,clean tank mannually and refill
water.

Inspection of Process ESP for any dust or air leakage:


Checking of all inspection doors. All doors should be
closed in proper position. Inspection of all double
cone valves and their slide gates.double cone valves
should be working properly. Inspection of all Chain
conveyors checking their discharge chutes, drive
system, chain links ,liners and tightness of chain.
Checking of jamming in all hoppers.
Inspection of Dedusting ESP for any dust or air leakage:
Checking of all inspection doors. All doors should be closed
in proper position. Inspection of all rotary valves and their
slide gates. Rotary valves should be working in proper
sequence. Inspection of Chain conveyor checking their
discharge chute, drive system, chain links ,liners and
tightness of chain.Checking of jamming in all hoppers.
Inspection of WGF area: checking oil pressure & flow
of drive & non drive side bearings,checking
temprature & vibration of both side plummer blocks.
Inspection of soft water flow in WGF motor.Level &
Leakage inspection of all over head oil tanks, main oil
tank & all pipe lines.checking all compensetors air
leakage,inspection
of
oil
lubrication
system,inspection
of
all
spring
based
foundations.incase found any abnormality then
corrective action should be taken .
