DSAS Mk 2
A fully compliant, premium Ship Security Alert System (SSAS) designed
for the user who requires a SSAS they can rely on when it is needed most.
Unlike many Ship Security Alert Systems (SSAS) that

to protect against inadvertent activation, 5-7 day

have been designed to conform to only the minimum

battery backup, tamper warnings, battery protection

standards, the Type Approved and flag accepted

technology and traffic light diagnostic LEDs.

DSAS Mk2 is a premium, standalone SSAS designed

to exceed SOLAS XI-2/6 regulations.

Operating on the Inmarsat IsatData Pro network,

DSAS Mk2 comes with hourly reporting as standard

Features

Unlike some other SSASs, DSAS Mk2

operates independently, so it will continue
to function even if the ships communication
system is taken down.

Easy to install

Continuous hourly tracking

DSAS Mk2 requires just two cables and

can be installed by ships crew. Backwards
compatible with DSAS Mk1 installations to
make upgrading simple.

Unlike some SSASs which only track the

vessels position after an alert has been
triggered, DSAS Mk2 offers continuous
hourly tracking (included as standard).

Backup power source

Two activation points

Features an integrated backup power

pack that will power the unit for 5-7 days
(dependent on operating conditions) in the
event that the ships main power goes offline
or is actively taken down.

DSAS Mk2 comes with two alert activation
